Finally! Starbucks Tea Drinks! :D
Been waiting for Starbucks to have milktea and finally they decided to have a new set of blended tea beverage. The Hojicha Tea Jelly and Green Tea with Red beans.
Both are awesome you must try them out! Especially to those milktea lovers out there!
Pan de Amerikana, The upside down restaurant
It was my cousin who invited me to join her to have lunch at Pan de Amerikana. At first I thought maybe she just wanted to have some pandesal (bread roll) for lunch *weird* because usually in the Philippines, when you hear Pan de +something, most likely it's a bakery, and Filipinos would love to eat pandesal at breakfast. Then she said that the place is nice and it's interesting because it's an upside down restaurant. So I got thrilled to see the place and said yes for a Sunday morning jog and brunch at Pan de Amerikana.
So we went and I was impressed and surprised not just because it's an upside down restaurant, but because they serve good and very cheap Filipino food as well. They have Adobo, Bicol express, Chicken pandan and a lot more! Ranging from Php40 to php100. They also have Halo-halo! :D The place is very cozy and relaxing, an indoor garden setting while having lunch or dinner... I just love the place, food and the idea.
Although it's weird Pan de Amerikana then Filipino food? But who cares? As long as they serve great food, that's all that matters! :D
You definitely have to check it out! :D

HAPPY LEMON
As I have been trying all the latest drink craze here in Manila, I finally tried HAPPY LEMON.
The first time I saw Happy Lemon was when I watched a movie in Greenhills Promenade. That time I was really curious because the store is located beside Starbucks and I was wondering why there were a lot of people inside Happy Lemon compared to Starbucks. That was July of 2011, and after that long curiosity I was finally able to taste one of their recommended flavors last January 22, 2012. Yes I know I'm such a loser :P
Anyway, so I tried the weirdest sounding drink that I have heard as of yet, COCA with ROCK SALT AND CHEESE. When I first knew about it I was like, WHAT?? But then if you're into Gastronomic indulgence, I'm sure you have heard and tried a lot of weird sounding beverages/food, and I assure you the drink was not bad at all. Well honestly at first it was just like an ordinary chilled chocolate drink but after one zip you'll taste the salt and the cheese and that's the twist. But I was really expecting something more, like a creamier chocolate drink with more cheese and a bit of salt. So I'm going to rate the drink 7 out of 10. Although, up to this moment seems like the salty taste of that drink is still in my tongue and I'm craving for more! Well I will try their other flavors ASAP and I'll make sure to post them in here.
My friend tried another Happy Lemon Rock salt and cheese drink. Green tea with rock salt and cheese. I'll try that one too... soon. :D

BUBBATEALICIOUS
MILK TEA! The latest drink craze in the Philippines right now. Been seeing a lot of people in Facebook uploading their milk tea drinks... While me, green tea frap from Starbucks will suffice. But because of my FB friends, I got curious. One of the most talked bout is Cha Dao. Been really wanting to try it but I don't have much time. So there's this BUBBATEALICIOUS in SM Fairview and that's the closest to me. So I decided to give it a try and since I'm not familiar with the flavors, I just tried the Strawberry milk tea since I love strawberries. And I loved it, you will taste the mixture of strawberry and organic tea ingredients. I just really loved it... I also tried the strawberry milk tea in karate kid, the tea taste is stronger though, but still like it :)

Tuna Afritada!
I made my own Tuna Afritada! Need to have a balanced diet so I decided to try experimenting.
At first I already thought of having Tuna with tomatoes but I wanted more veggies and I found mixed veggies in the Fridge. At first I didn't know what to call it but as I was cooking and have put in all the ingredients it looked like an afritada and it seemed like the ones that you buy in the supermarket (Flavored canned tuna).
1/2 canned tuna (I used Century tuna chunks in vegetable oil)
2 tomatoes (diced)
1/2 onion (minced)
1/2 pack mixed veggies
1 1/2 tbsp canola oil
Heat the canola oil in the pan
Saute onion and then put in tomatoes, juice them a bit by pressing on them
add the tuna and saute for 5mins
add mixed veggies and just keep mixing them until veggies are cooked
(Sorry for the terms, but I don't know how to make cooking instructions lol)

FISH18 clothing store
I was window shopping earlier at SM North Edsa's The Block and I discovered this store. It seems to me it is a Japanese clothing store, I don't really know but it's really cool. You will see some simple shirts with cool prints and there are some clothes with odd designs but really cool and fashionable and wearable for everyday use. Aside from that, clothes in Fish18 are also affordable ranging from 599Php to 2000Php.
I'm glad I found this store because lately I've been having a hard time looking for a store where I can buy clothes that aren't common but affordable and comfortable to wear.
I checked their website, seems thay have started couple of years back but honestly it's the 1st time I saw this store. Probably they just recently opened a store here in the capital region.
Anyway you can visit them at level 3 SM North Edsa The Block.

Toycon 2011 (June 18, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong, Philippines)
It was a very exciting and fun day! I never thought that I would be enjoying this kind of event. Before, when I was seeing people do cosplay I find them weird and I really hated it (cosplay) but I just realized it's really fun to cosplay and I even want to do it on the next cosplay event here in Manila.
My sister and cousin played as members of the delta team from USS (Umbrella Security Service). If you're playing Resident Evil then you should know them. And on the next cosplay event I want to play HUNK, he's also part of th RE USS but I want to play the mercenaries 3d version of him.
There were a lot of cosplayers that day and it got to a point that i felt dizzy already because there was no enough space to move in to and everyone was already bumping into each other.
But overall I really had fun and I really want to cosplay soon because when you are doing it, it's like you're a celebrity, a lot of people will ask to take a picture of you or to take picture with you (I'm a bit of a frustrated celebrity lol).
So see you on the next cosplay event!
